Volunteers facilitate a bereavement support group called Walking in Hope. The group meets for nine 2-hour sessions in the spring and in the fall of each year. We offer support to widows and widowers, parents who have lost a child or anyone who has lost a significant person in their life. Facilitators are trained in the Ministry of Consolation by the Diocesan Office of Parish Life.
WALKING IN HOPE…
A BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT GROUP
Losing a loved one is always hard, but in these times of forced social isolation, it can be extremely difficult. St. Paschal and St. Clare wish to offer support to widows and widowers, parents who have lost a child or anyone who has lost a significant person in their life. A six-week support group will be offered beginning on Tuesday, September 14, 2021. We will meet at St. Paschal, observing social distancing and any other requirements of the Diocese and CDC. Meetings will run from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in a relaxed atmosphere with guest speakers and support materials for your review at home. Come join us and feel free to bring a friend or relative. This support group is open to parishioners and non-parishioners. There is no charge. To register or for more information, contact Barbara Curran at 440-840-5511, or the St. Paschal Rectory at 440-442-3410.
