Nick Ambrogio
Council Term: 2020 - 2024 (Vice Chair)
Nick and his wife, Amanda, and have been married since graduating from Purdue University in 2001, and are proud parents of Domenic and Ava. They reside in Highland Heights and have been parishioners at St. Clare since 2013. They were familiar with the parish as Nick’s grandparents, Bill and Eldina Ambrogio, had been members since moving to Mayfield Heights in the 1950’s. Nick and his family initially became involved by volunteering at the parish festival which led to further opportunities to set down their roots. Nick has served as a lector at 8am mass since 2017 and taught 5th Grade PSR from 2018 to 2021. Amanda also lectors, serves on the RCIA team, and has volunteered in the PSR office. Domenic and Ava have faithfully served as altar servers since fifth grade and have served as aids in the PSR program.

Alexandra (Alex) Gibbons
Council Term: 2022 - 2026 (Secretary)
Alex has been a parishioner of Saint Clare her entire life (since 1999) as she also attended Saint Clare for grade school. Her parents, Dennis and Carla, are active members of the church and she is the proud older sister of her two siblings, Annalise & Denny. Outside of Saint Clare, you can find Alex at Progressive Field working for the Cleveland Guardians as an Event Planner. In her free time, she loves all things sports, practicing yoga, attending workout classes, and spending time with my family and friends.

Dennis Gibbons
Council Term: 2020 - 2024 (Chair)
Dennis is married to his wife Carla of 23 years. They joined the parish in 1998 and have 3 children, Alexandra, Annalise, and Denny. Dennis has been very active in the church for many years serving as a Eucharistic Minister and part of the Men of Prayer group. Most recently, Dennis serves as Parish Council Chair. Dennis enjoys being a part of the church community beause of the amazing family that St. Clare is. Outside of church Dennis and Carla can be found supporting their children in the various activities they are involved in. In his spare time, Dennis referees for OHSAA football.

Emily Hoffmann
Council Term: 2021 - 2025
Emily is married to Kraig and they have been parishoners of St. Clare since 2002. They have 2 sons, Drew and Matthew, who are graduates of St. Clare School and Corpus Christi Academy. Emily works as a Physical Therapist and in her spare time enjoys running, reading and being out in nature.

Sam Mercurio
Council Term: 2020 - 2024
Sam is married to his lovely wife Rose. They have been parishoners of St. Clare since 1986. Together they have two children, Carli (husband Eric) and Cayla who are both St. Clare alumnae. In addition to their two children, they have been blessed with a 19-month old grandson. Rose and Sam volunteer during the parish festival and are also part of the planning committee. They also have supported many fundraising events for both the school, parish, and boosters over the years. When they aren't helping out at church, they love to travel, spend time with family and friends, and entertain.

Diane Minor
Council Term: 2022 - 2026
Diane first became a parishioner at St. Clare in 1968 at the age of 4. She married David Minor in 1989 at St. Clare Church then moved to South Euclid where they joined St. Margaret Mary Parish. Their children attended St. Margaret Mary school until it's closure in 2001. St. Clare offered a “welcome back home” feeling for the family and their children attended St. Clare School unitl 2007. Diane currently serves on the Nourish for Caregivers Team. Diane also volunteers at St. Clare Festival and is excited to be a member of Parish Council. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoys travelling. Her and her husband's favorite trips have been Aruba, Hawaii and a private yacht trip for 6 in Southern Florida with our own captain and first mate!

Lauren Petrello
Council Term: 2021 - 2025 (Assistant Chair)
While Lauren was baptised at Holy Rosary parish, her parents joined St. Clare in 1988 and Lauren has been a parishoner ever since. She is the elder of 5 siblings. In 2012 she married her husband Carmen at St. Clare church. They both enjoy working the parish festival every year, and helping out with church decorations for each liturgical seaon. For fun, Lauren and Carmen enjoy catching baseball games especially in different cities. Their goal is to visit all of the MLB ballparks.

Mary Preda
Council Term: 2022 - 2026
Mary has been a parishioner since 1993. She is married to Tim, and they have two children, Brandon and Kristina. She has volunteered at the Festival for many years and is part of one of the Bible fellowship groups.

Tim Shean
Council Term: 2021 - 2025
Tim has been a St. Clare parishoner his entire life. He is also a St. Clare alumni. Throughout the years Tim has been involved in a few different ministries serving as a PSR Catechist, and an alter server. Tim still helps out maintaining all of the schedules for the alter servers at each mass. Outside of St. Clare Tim works downtown as a staff accountant at Barnes Wendling CPAs.

Michael Spolar
Council Term: 2021 - 2025
Mike is married to his lovely wife Maureen and they have been parishoners of St. Clare since 2019. They have 5 children, 2 boys and 3 girls. As a family they enjoy bike riding, vacationing at the beach, and taking cruises. Mike is also involved in the Men's Prayer Group at St. Clare.

Jerry Wisniewski
Council Term: 2023 - 2027
Jerry and his wife Barb live in Lynhurst, and have been parishioners since they were married in 1978. They have 2 children, Patti and Kristin and 4 grandchildren. Jerry has been active in the parish, previously serving on RCIA, Pre-Cana and CFM. He is also a Eucharistic minister and coordinates scheduling for the all eucharistic ministers. Jerry has previously served on parish council and is a member of the Knights of Columbus. He is an avid golfer and coached youth sports for many years. Jerry is retired from Yours Truly restaurants. Jerry and Barb enjoy many mutual interests and their family.

Sarah Zarcone
Council Term: 2021 - 2025
Sarah has been a parishoner of St. Clare since 2012 and is a lector at daily mass. She, and her husband Nick have been married for 9 years and have 4 beautiful children. In Sarah's free time she enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, reading, and learning about theology and apologetics.
