The Christmas Season officially ends with the Feast of the Baptism of the Lord on Sunday,

January 10th, and Ordinary Time begins ~ Ordinary Time doesn’t have to be “ordinary”!

have your children cut snowflakes to decorate your home.

Fold a square piece of paper in half, then in half again, (you can fold in half again if you want –

make sure to hold the folded corner!) cut from point to point to round it, make sure the folded point is held in hand and not cut, then cut on folds and around edges to create your one of a kind snowflake!

For more how to instructions see: https://www.wikihow.com/Cut-Elegant-Paper-Snowflakes

We are thankful for all those in Faith Formation.

May God continue to bless & protect you & your families!

It is at this exact moment that our faith is most needed! Start preparing today;

Then Eli understood that the LORD was calling the youth.
So he said to Samuel, “Go to sleep, and if you are called, reply,
Speak, LORD, for your servant is listening.”

1 Samuel 3:8-9

Resources for Families:

Faith & Family; Read, Discuss, Act:  In the Gospel, the disciples refers to Jesus as "teacher." Write a thank-you note to one of your teachers or send a note to a teacher you've had in the past & let them know they made an impact on your life.

Fr. Klasinski wants to thank each of you who have continued your Sunday offering donations; without YOU our parish cannot continue to run! We continue to have bills to pay and we continue to work for YOU! We encourage all parishioners to mail in your envelopes or consider signing up for Online Givingclick here: https://www.osvonlinegiving.com/694

It is at this exact moment that our faith is most needed! Like Samuel and the disciples in today’s readings we too are called to be disciples. Let us make a commitment to share and invite others to “come & see”, to take time to look & listen to God in our lives and world. https://bible.usccb.org/bible/readings/011721.cfm

Saint Clare Church is so much more than a building, we are a community united in Christ Jesus. Fr. Klasinski, Fr. Cosgrove & I pray daily for you & your family, for God’s continued blessings & protection for your safety & well-being.

Pax et bonum! (peace & goodness)
