Saint Clare catechetical team is praying for you:

It is at this exact moment that our faith is most needed! Start preparing today;

The Pharisees went off and plotted how they might entrap Jesus in speech…

…Tell us, then, what is your opinion: Is it lawful to pay the census tax to Caesar or not?"…

… Then they handed him the Roman coin.

He said to them, "Whose image is this and whose inscription?" They replied, "Caesar's."

At that he said to them,

"Then repay to Caesar what belongs to Caesar and to God what belongs to God."

It is at this exact moment that our faith is most needed! It is often said that “religion & politics don’t mix” but Jesus reminds us of our priorities & recognizing whose image & inscription we bear. https://bible.usccb.org/bible/readings/101820.cfm Click here to read what our bishops say on our duties of citizenship & the values of faith which must assist us in our response: https://www.dioceseofcleveland.org/faithful-citizenship and https://www.usccb.org/issues-and-action/faithful-citizenship/upload/forming-consciences-for-faithful-citizenship.pdf

Saint Clare Church is so much more than a building, we are a community united in Christ Jesus. Fr. Klasinski, Fr. Cosgrove & I pray daily for you & your family, for God’s continued blessings & protection for your safety & well-being.

Pax et bonum! (peace & goodness)
