St Clare Mass THIS Weekend Offered for You!

It is at this exact moment that our faith is most needed!

This weekend Father Klasinski and Father Cosgrove will celebrate Mass together for us, the parishioners of St. Clare. Though we are not able to be physically present in the pews and celebrate with them, they will lift us up and pray for us during the Mass and we can offer An Act of Spiritual Communion (click here). They also want you all to know that they are praying their Daily Office for us too (see or )

There are many ways for you to participate in Mass during this challenging time where our church doors are closed. During this past week I’ve virtually travelled and participated in daily Mass around the world: from the Diocese of Cleveland to The Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in CT (they have live online Eucharistic Adoration too :-) to Bishop Barron’s Chapel in Santa Barbara and Mass in Rome. To take a virtual pilgrimage of your own check out:

See our webpage for links to EWTN and 1260AM The Rock Masses:

Father Klasinski’s brilliant homilies are available online too; see Twitter @stclarechurch, or our Facebook page or our YouTube channel, Church of Saint Clare

Fr. Klasinski wants to thank each of you who have continued your Sunday offering donations; without you our parish cannot continue to run. We continue to have bills to pay and we continue to work for you though the church is on lock down. During this time of social distancing, we encourage all parishioners to mail in your envelopes or consider signing up for Online Giving – click here:  I personally contribute through Online Giving and highly recommend it as a secure and easy way to support our parish; click now & check it out!

Fr. Cosgrove is offering Drive Through Confession – look for his green, white & orange Irish flag! See:

I encourage you to follow us on Twitter @stclarechurch to see daily updates, prayers, spiritual life, faith formation and links to many different kinds of resources. You can also find our Twitter feed with the ability to click on links at the bottom left corner of our webpage:

It is at this exact moment that our faith is most needed! I encourage you to use this challenging time apart to deepen your faith within. The root word of “quarantine” comes from the number forty, which has long been associated with Lent, the 40 Days, and as I pray for God’s blessing, protection, safety & well being of your family and an end of COVID-19, I pray also that you seek & find God’s comfort, peace & guidance to help you through the anxiety and fear of this global crisis.
